At Roamwork, our spaces are designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and community. We caught up with Devon, Head of Programmes and Operations at diiVe, to learn more about his day-to-day, his work, and what makes being part of this community so special.
Three Words to Describe Devon
When asked to sum himself up, Devon chose: effervescent, loyal, and passionate. “When I’m getting ready in the mornings, I usually build my outfit around my shoes,” he laughs. “It’s a small way to start the day on a positive note and show a bit of personality.”
Why Roamwork Feels Like Home
Devon has been part of the Roamwork community for many years. “It’s a beautiful, inspiring, and interesting office,” he says. “It’s been amazing to be part of this community, especially since we’ve had clients like Roeburg come through our programs, as well as various other organizations. But what really stands out is the team here- they’re warm, bubbly, and genuinely helpful. That makes a huge difference.”

A Day in Devon’s Life
Devon starts each day with movement. “I love training, and luckily, I train just up the road. I’ll get my session in, shower, and then settle into work here.”
Once in the office, the day begins with a quick team stand-up. Coffee runs are a must: “I love grabbing a coffee from Simple Brew just up the road. It’s the perfect way to step away for a moment and reset before diving into work.” Lunch is often enjoyed on the second-floor balcony, taking in the space before heading back to the grind. By five, Devon usually wraps up his day.
diiVe’s Mission
diiVe operates at the intersection of consulting and education, empowering university students with a stronger sense of agency through consulting training and internship programs. “It’s incredibly rewarding to work in a space where our mission aligns with our values and the work we do every day,” Devon explains.

Culture in Three Words
When asked to sum up diiVe’s culture, Devon chose: purpose-driven, excellence, and belonging. These words capture the essence of the organization and reflect why being part of a supportive, inspiring community like Roamwork is so meaningful.
